As the name suggests, Electric Blanket is a label that covers much territory and is here for anyone feeling left out in the cold. Following in the shadows of such great indie labels as Sire, Atlantic, and Island, EBR is not about one genre or one location; we’re an international label and in some cases, intergalactic.
We lean towards groups; and towards groups with instruments but we’ll never limit ourselves. As Duke Ellington is credited with saying, “There are simply two kinds of music, good music and the other kind.” We hope you feel about our artists and their work as we do. Thanks for stopping in.
